| Studded Tires Out of Season as of May 1st |
Studded snow tires will once again be illegal as of May 1, 2012. This violation carries a $62.00 fine.

U.S. 95, Sandpoint to Kootenai Cut Off
Reconstruction and widening of Highway 95 to four lanes through Ponderay from the Byway to the existing four-lane north of town will begin the first week of May, 2012. There will be traffic control where required with reduced speed limits. This will be an approximate two-year project. The construction company will have an office located in the Bonner Mall for any questions.
